These are the top 30 African music videos that have been viewed by most people around the world on YouTube in 2017. All the songs involve Africans who are locals of the continent and those who are citizens of other nations but have at least one parent being a citizen or originating from a particular nation in Africa.

The number of people who view the various videos keeps updating every period in time and so the list here is a snapshot in time on December 31, 2017, which may not be true for the time you view the list. The music on the list include songs that were published after September of 2016 up to December of 2017. The author was of the biased view that musicians who published after September of the previous year were looking to be recognized for the impact of the music in the next year.
